Job Summary: The Technician - INA is responsible for inspecting and evaluating incoming components and materials to identify nonconformances. This role ensures that all parts meet required specifications before being released to production, supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspections of incoming parts and materials using precision measuring tools. Identify and document nonconforming items in the quality management system. Generate and manage Nonconformance Reports (NCRs). Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to determine appropriate disposition of nonconforming items. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes. Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability. Follow all safety and regulatory requirements, including EHS protocols. Qualifications: Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred. 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection or aerospace manufacturing. Familiarity with AS9100, FAA, or other aerospace quality standards is a plus. Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documentation. Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Basic computer skills (MS Office, SAP or ERP systems). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Standing, walking, and manual dexterity required for extended periods. Use of PPE as required (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, respirators).
