Complexity of Work: Intermediate knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Intermediate knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Other Information: Florida State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in the defined area of responsibility.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or accredited Histotechnology program.
